Don’t assume a heavy, large sedan is a safety feature. These cars may protect the driver, but can cause significant damage to a vehicle that they strike.
Take a driver safety course. Many rehabilitation programs, AAA and AARP offer them for a nominal fee for seniors. Some course decrease your automobile insurance premium.
Have your eyes examined yearly and wear your glasses if you have a prescription.
If you have hearing loss, get a hearing aid. They are not perfect, but they will help you recognize risks that you might otherwise not hear like warning horns and sirens.
