Driving slowly and driving safely are not closely correlated. When the traffic is moving at a consistent speed, the slow driver provides an accident risk. If you are driving slow because you recognize your response time is lessened you need to ask yourself if you should still be driving. If you are going to drive slower than the rest of the traffic stream, pull to the right to the slow lane. If you are a slow driver, it is best not to use highways and freeways where the traffic moves faster. Note when other drivers are passing you to your right, flashing their lights at you and gesturing, you are probably an accident menace. The slow driver is adverse to the flow of traffic and as other drivers attempt to pass and get frustrated, accidents happen.
